    Hi Emma,

In terms of cars, are you going to have people see the car? If not you could get taxis and that should drop that price (depending on where you are driving from).

Also do you need balloons, chair sashes and ornamentals? If you are having flowers you could skip that? Alternatively we bought a tank of helium and that was about £30 I think then the balloons and string. You could make a decoration yourself? Not going to be as expensive.

For flowers my friend went to the market early the day before and did them herself. That was in London but it might be worth looking at doing that yourself - or even looking at bouquets in supermarkets that you can trim down.

Have you looked into sample sales for the dress you like? Alternatively if you went to a wedding shop with images they may be able to find something very similar?

Not sure if that is any help at all, good luck x

i would also ask bridesmaids to maybe buy their own shoes if you aren't too strict on design and if hair and ,makeup is optional again maybe ask them to pay.

Do you have a family car that you could dress up yourself?

For dress if you have your heart set on that one. Why not take photos to a dress maker and see what price they give you..
