I haven't even been bridesmaid shopping yet but I've set up a FB group and a p1nt3r3st page so we can tag what I like and what my sister and bestie like- trouble is my sister is already stresses that she is going to look fat!
I love her so much but she stresses quite easily, gets very tense and we haven't even been shopping yet.
So basically she is a size 20 quite short 5ft 2 and carries most of her weight round her belly.
My bestie is about 5ft 7 and a size 12 so they are completely opposite- my sister loves in Scotland so we are going to organise a trip a some point
The sort of dress I like is this but I was wondering if there are any plus size curvy girls who have photos of dresses they can show me on models at her size
My colours for bridesmaid are dusky blue

If you found a bridal outlet they have loads of styles and sizes in all sorts of colours you could use that as first stop, you pick a few styles and they pick some and then you never know you may be able to find a style and shape that way.

It might be worth going to a D@v1d5 8r1d@1 if one near you. Huge selection of pretty much every style of bridesmaid dress so a great place to try lots on and in varying sizes. Service is terrible but if just going for trying on it's fab x

Yes have one near us, booked in 24th June with my other bridesmaid- having a day shopping with my other bridesmaid so I can work out what I like before attempting to go with sister-

Only place that has any in stock in Glasgow- handy as sister lives in Edinburgh so she is going to go through and look and then if she thinks it's worth it myself and other BM will take a trip up to Glasgow!
