    Morning all,

Sorry not on all weekend. OHs aunt - the one who is close to his nan in hospital has fallen over and broken her ankle so is in hospital too! Talk about bad timing! We have been so buy in and out of hospital. I am feeling so run down.

It is my birthday tomorrow and i have booked a half day to have a rest, go for a walk etc but now will just spend all afternoon in the hospital.

His nan is doing brilliantly and is walking about 10 meters and back - 20 meters total. So proud of how well she has done!

Feel so guilty. I'm not going to the hospital tonight. I'm just really tired and need a break. I'm going to pop up tomorrow after work but I doubt she has had anyone tonight.

    Morning all

    Hope you are all good.

Went to London Friday to see Olly murs again, was eventful to say the least. Our friend was driving, we stopped off, got petrol and then got to the boat. Went to get on it and the car would not start, bumped started it thinking it would then be ok, but nope. Would not start to get off the boat either so had to push it, but it got to London fine, once it was going it went. Got to the hotel with a full bladder, has to actually get out the car and run round to the hotel as I would never have made it. Anyhoo, turned the engine off and still would not start. Left it all weekend and went to leave Sunday and still nothing. Tried bump starting it but don't think us girls had enough power, but some chap had jump leads, that would not work, but I said lets try again as when we pushed it to the chap's car it almost started, fortunately it did,so managed to make our way home.

Only murs was great again, think he's done better though. Then on Saturday we just trudged around London going to places we wanted to go to. Was nice for my daughter to see more of it. We went to Westminster last so that we could get some nice pics in the dark, was nice to see every lamp post across the bridge had flowers on. We got back to the hotel about 1045 in the end.

Had an early shift yesterday and was on call but fortunately I did not get called out. On a late today and need to blitz some uni work.

Managed to get some uni work sorted out this morning. Showered, just had an early lunch as need to pick a parcel up on the way to work, and start at 1pm. At least the weather is not so great today so won't feel so bad about being stuck indoors.

Hey all, hope you've had a fab weekend, been a quiet one this end. My daughters had dreaded bug going round so off school til tomorrow bless her, she's never ill as it always seems to miss her.
Having major problems with OH daughter again, quite frankly she being a horrid vile brat and for once OH has agreed. Once again she hates me for telling her off well over 3 yrs ago. Like get a grip. Took her back home at 10pm ( we only picked her up at 6.30pm) as OH wasn't going to put up with her attitude and behaviour in general. He told her that unless she bucks her ideas up she wasn't coming to wedding, her answer was she doesn't care!!!!! Really how do kids thinks they can talk to parents like that. It shocks me xx

    Happy Birthday Emily.

3 more sleeps and it's my op day!
I'm bricking it and the nightmares are not helping. Had a total brake down yesterday and even told my H2B where my life insurance papers are.
I feel stupid for worrying so much as I've had the op before, but last time I didn't have a child or a partner.
H2B didn't get granted leave because apparently my mum can have the baby, I can go into hospital on my own (Both me and hospital want my mum their due to mental health issues), oh and the best bit I can look after a baby on my own after having surgery!
Luckily MIL has stepped in and is having mr man while I am in theatre and H2B is working. First time she has ever had him so I'm freaking out about that as well. Then when I'm out and MIL has to go back to work my mum is having him until H2B has his days off.

My poor BIL had emergency surgery yesterday after being attacked and his hand being sliced open. Surgeon is certain he will get full use of his hand back as long as he rests it and completes his physiotherapy.

Really feeling tired recently sleeping well though which is strange. Organising our anniversary too, thinking of a day in the peak district cycling one of the trails with afternoon tea in one of the stately homes. Its a bit of both of us then.

    Happy birthday Emily.

I am in a bit of a bad mood, the school has angered me to the point of tears. Cut a long story short, yesterday my son retaliated against a boy who had said bullying things about his sisters. Both of them. The school is punishing him for it. I spoke with a mentor this morning and she said she knew nothing of the name calling, which was actually very hurtful and personal. I said the pupils don't come to you because they know nothing will get done. She tried insisting they do come to the mentors. She was sending my son home for exclusion (great punishment), and needed a statement from him as he had not done one. He comes home, says he already done one yesterday and gave it to another mentor. So i emailed back and said one had already been handed to another mentor, but I would be getting him to write one anyway and send it as I want it for my own correspondence for when I make a complaint on the way they deal so lopsided with things. He writes said statement, I log into emails to find one from her saying that she has the statement. So either she had read it or was only just given to her when it should have been given yesterday. The reason why I am so angry is that when the tables are turned and my son got kicked in the head twice it took the school three weeks to deal with it and the boy who done it got a day in isolation on the last day of term, yet when my son has done wrong they are on him straight away punishing him. Fortunately I have all the email from the incident before so I shall be including them in the complaint. It was then I lost all faith in the school.

Oh GF your poor son, I know exactly how you feel my brother is in the same position at his school to the point where my mum is considering a complaint to the local education authority.

They really are one sided as it makes it quicker to sort and they won't ever think to ask for the other side of the story.

I will be taking it further as well. I will go through the correct procedures and fill in their complain form, email the governors and then got the the department of education as I know it won't be dealt with. OK so my son is being punished as they do not condone that kind of behaviour, but they are condoning bullying in another form as they won't do anything. I think it is more to do with the fact that they are quick to punish him but not others. Like you say, very one sided.

OH GF. I really feel for you and you're children. Bullying is horrid and they way schools deal with it is a joke!

We went through all this with my step son. He was coming home with black eyes, bruises, bite marks etc daily and all the school had to say on the matter was 'Well the child doing it does have mental and behavioural issues'. So does my step son but he doesn't go around bullying people! I did ask the head teacher if it was than acceptable for me to beat her because I have mental and behavioural issues! I wouldn't do it obvs, but she got my point for about a month and then it started again.

Long story short after a 2 year fight with the school, us finding out who the child was (turns out I know his mother), having words with the mother, pulling him out of school until they delt with the child and getting 0fs3ed etc involved it finally got sorted. Hope you're all ok?

I just hate the way they cannot deal with everyone in the same way. Bullying is bullying whether it is physical like your step son suffered or verbally. The school cannot see that if the bullying had not taken place initially nobody would have to retaliate.

Exactly GF they don't seem to understand that there isn't a reaction with provocation. My brother was punched and he retaliated by pushing the person who punched him, a teacher saw him react but conveniently didn't see the initial punch.

Awww GF hope your sons ok. If it's one thing I hate it's bully's, I really cannot stand them and I don't think school deal with those situations correctly if u ask me. I've not had to battle the school bully's (yet) and hope I don't as I no I'll lose it ( I was severely bullied at school) with all involved. We have had to deal with bullying kids in our local park which ended with police involved due to being threatened by both the bully( 9 yrs old with an axe) and parents too. But his parents don't care what they do and the language is terrible. I'd be mortified if it came about any of my girls were bullying. Xx

Fuming is an understatement. Just got a note through our door from the shop below us telling us to shut THAT THING up (our 14 month old) because she has a headache!! Headache?! I'll show you a headache if you ever call my child a 'thing' again women.

He is unstable on his feet and falls over and like a normal child throws tantrums and his toys around. We try and get him to keep it down as much as we can but he is a Infant for crying out loud. This is not the first time she has been like this either but its a very long story.

TBH GF I don't think they know how to deal with children any more.

Kids getting ready for school and bickering as usual, lol. I leave them to it and enjoy my cuppa.
Getting my lips done this morning ready for hen weekend at end of month and I'm soooo nervous but excitied at the same time.
Yet another argument with OH daughter last night as she kicked off about him going out this weekend when he's got her for a couple of hours for suit fitting. Her attitude sucks big time so he lost it when she started shouting at him over the phone. She's said not coming to the wedding is 'fine' and 'she doesn't care'. He's speaking to her mother today as she's meant to be sorting her attitude but I've just found out she's paid for her to go to France ( there's no punishment for her at all for anything) will see what she (mother) has to say today!!!!! Xx have a great sunny day all xx

Have you never had them done before or are you nervous about your hen?

So far today I have done some laundry which is on the line and another load in, cleared up some of the rubbish from the garden as hubby said him and a mate are doing a dump run today. Will be good to get everything out the garden ready for the summer. I am also currently working through the uni bits I have to do and finishing them off. I need it all completed properly by Wednesday next week when I start my nights. Then at least I can enjoy the easter weekend. HUbby is working away next week as well, bit of a pain as I am working nights from Wednesday so nobody to have them overnight really. I think he is hoping to be done by Wednesday.

Operation went extremely well. No signs of endometriosis anymore (think pregnancy got rid of it but I'm not cured, it could come back) and I CAN have more children. Was in theatre for an hour and half and recovery for 15 mins. Was discharged got into the lift and got suck between floors for nearly an hour! Hospital were fantastic and took me to the car by wheelchair as was very faint lol. Now back home with my baby boy, mum and fiancé. Still very sleepy.

    Morning all.

The meeting was ok. They said they've spoken with the lad involved and will be punished accordingly. She was more than happy about me putting in the complaint. At the end of the day their policy is to exclude a child who hits another and in my case it was not done even after he admitted to it. The teacher I saw is nice and does sort things. Not like the one I spoke with on the phone,

Sun is lovely here today, so my plan is to get out in it. Forget uni stuff. I can do that at work tonight hopefully. Yesterday I went to the gym after two weeks of not going, it was good to be back, came home, fell asleep on the sofa and could not wake up. When I did it was too late to go back to the gym. Cooked dinner but felt so tired still I had to lay down again, but then we went for a stroll along the seafront again in the evening sunshine,

Second lot of washing on the line. Picked a couple more RSVPs up from my parents.

My stomach is hurting badly today. I was up half the night belching and in so much pain. Today at lunch decided to have an omelette thinking there's nothing bad in an omelette.. oh i was wrong. Not sure what but it didn't agree with me. It is starting to get me down now. I have lost half a stone in a month through fear of eating because of the pain. Really want this sorted!

Today has been pretty productive. I spent early morning cleaning the garden and getting that nice and straight. Then sat in the sun for a bit, popped out for a walk in town, and been out getting wood to make a ladder. I saw in someone's house once they had an old wooden ladder, painted it up and leant it against the wall by the sofa and they put their folded up throws/blankets on it. I loved it. So instead of buying an old ladder which would probs costs a fair bit ( we saw one in town and it was £65), we are making it. Well hubby is.

Just showered whilst hubby is cooking dinner and then I have a night shift to do.
