Hi ladies!!!

So the garter...... Are all of your brides going to/did you wear one? Did you do the garter toss?

I didn't even really know what it was for until I just read online that the bride is suppose to do the bouquet toss to the single girls, then after the groom takes off the garter and throws it to all the single guys, is that right?!

Ive never seen that done before i thought it was left on just for the guy later on? Im clueless haha

I am wearing one but I will not be tossing it.

I have heard it before but i will also not be tossing my bouquet.

I think the tradition died with it being a bit more personal to take a garter off etc and being underwear

I'm the same as Emily, I'll be wearing mine but leave it for h2b to find :) I'm sewing a blue ribbon on to make it my something blue.

I think the garter toss is more popular is the USA. Not my cuppa tea.

i agree with above, i will be wearing it but the idea of h2b taking it off in front of everyone and then throwing it into a crowd of our single friends and family members really creeps me out :')

Ha ha ha.... I wore one, forgot I had it on and it came down whilst dancing late in the night!! I gave it OH who put it in his suit pocket, forgot about it and when I returned the suits on the Monday, guys at the shop checked all suit pockets and found it!! OMG, embarrassed wasn't the word lol

I knew about it but didn't do the garter toss, didn't even throw my bouquet. Didn't want to do it, even if i did want to though I couldn't because my garter was actually my something borrowed and blue and was actually my sister's garter from her wedding.

I've never been to a wedding where they have done it x
