Do you find wedding magazines useful, are they worth purchasing?
If you do find them useful which ones do you get?
Would you say only useful if going for a traditional wedding?
Sorry for all the questions very new to this :)

    Hi Jennifer,

They are worth the odd purchase just try not to get carried away. They are great for when you are just starting your plans and then if you get stuck along the way.
They are very useful for any type of wedding as they all cover a broad range of actual weddings so it is nice to see how other brides do things.
I used to get two but I can't remember the name they were the smaller sized ones :)

    Hope this helps

Honestly I've bought them three times and I'd recommend never buying them.
All the ideas you can find in them you can also find on P1nt3r3st or other wedding websites (with a lot more variety), a lot of them are geared towards very expensive weddings so aren't all that useful if you're trying to keep unnecessary spending to a minimum, and the content mostly consists of advertising.

Every time i've bought them i've been vaguely entertained for about five minutes then regretted the purchase.

I love wedding magazines! Especially when I first started planning they were great for inspiration, some show galley of pictures from all sorts of real weddings which helps you see how all the details came together. There's lots of adverts for current dresses as well which I enjoyed when looking for the one.

But I have noticed that they can get a bit repetitive if you are planning for a long time so I don't tend to buy them often now. Even when I first did I never bought every magazine every month, just picked the one that seemed most interesting. I generally stayed away from 8rides magazine though because it expensive - as was everything inside it! Just my personal preference.

I'd recommend buying one just to try if you haven't, it always makes me a bit excited to take it to the counter and pay hahaha #smugbride

I bought 2 or 3 just for ideas on dresses, once you have seen one you have seen them all IMO.

I've read a few and I only liked one because it was a local one for the North West so it had adverts I was actually interested in. The national ones are good for a flick through I suppose.
