Myself and my H2B are wanting to get a little gift for each of the guests who have booked a room for on the night of the wedding. We have exclusive hire of our venue so a certain amount of rooms need booking on the night due to staffing costs. This leaves us with the dilemma that we can't afford to pay for every single room that needs booking but we will be charged for any rooms that aren't filled under the contract. Therefore, as a little thank you from us, on top of the favours we have for all guests, we were thinking of getting a little something, no more than £10 for each of the guests who have booked a room. Only problem is, we are stuck on ideas of what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

maybe some slippers or a pair of pj's? or a pamper set with toothbrush and paste, i'm thinking some people may forget things like that and would be happy to see one waiting for them maybe

How about something they could have as a midnight snack or a hangover cure kit. Or some posh toiletries they could use in the shower the next morning. You might be able to make up a little gift box with all 3 ideas. Sort of a guest survival kit ;)

I think the overnight/hangover kit sounds like a winner. Get travel size toothpaste, pain killers for the next day etc. Put a little note in with it as well. Think you'll be on to a winner

Managed to sort it out now!! We have little personalised bags from 3b4y with a note on them saying "Thank you for celebrating into the night with the new Mr and Mrs". Inside we have a few jokey things: Glow in the dark condom (just for a few giggles), hangover kit (which was only £1.75 each from 3b4y and comes with a tag explaining what is in it), a little love plaque (to share the love a little), and some mini toiletries. In all it has come to just over £9 each. Fingers crossed people will like them. We just didn't want people to pay for a room and not feel like they are getting anything out of it other than sleeping off all the alcohol!
