You can get good plain cakes from m&5 which you can decorate yourself. A few edible flwers and a nice ribbon can look really good.

Our cake was fake for the bottom 2 tiers and then my mum had the top fruit one for us to cut. We then served this with cutting cakes from m&$ and no one knew. We had the chocolate one and the lemon one, both with white icing and everyone complimented us on how tasty they were. Me and mum decorated the tiered fake cake with edible rice paper butterflies which I bought from @mazon. Super easy and looked so pretty. X
I also highly recommend the c05tc0 cake! You can have writing too or just get one of the designs with a bit of space in the middle and get a picture of you both printed on rice paper and stick it on.

We had my parents 50th Wedding anniversary cake made by M&5. The cake was so moist and tasted lovely. Kept fresh for ages.
Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan
