Hi, so I have a whole wedding booked in England for next year. I don't know why but I keep breaking down over it! All I want is my fiancé to see me in my dress, don't want anything else! How silly am I? I am also feeling very let down by my friends. They don't talk to me for weeks and I feel so lonely. I just don't want a big wedding and sit there and think, gosh I only have family here :-(

Anyway. My fiancé is very keen on us going abroad just him me and my two little girls (2&4) I want just a kids holiday, nice and cheap all inclusive where we can go to say our vows and get married. Anyone done this before and can anyone suggest options :-D

I will tell family if you want to come you can but I'm not paying lol

Thanks in advance and sorry if I seem like a crazy person x

So you have a wedding booked and paid for bit you want to cancel it???
I think going abroad and doing it with just your kids (though you need two adult witnesses) is a fab idea. I wish i could have done that.

Firstly, what's wrong with just having family at your wedding? A wedding is for your nearest and dearest to share with you, anyone would have mostly family at their weddings. All our guests were family apart from my 4 BMs who are my friends, along with their partners, but we made a point of only inviting family to the day as we only wanted those closest to us there to share it with us.

Check out Greece/Rhodes.. there are some lovely chapels there where you could get married, and plenty of child friendly hotels to choose from x

If you have money to rebook another venue etc then if its what you want go for it!! Crete is beautiful and reasonably priced!

If you still want to stay in england you can have just family at your wedding, small intimate wedings are beautiful! x

We had ours booked in the UK and decided to cancel and go abroad! We lost some deposits but got the venue deposit back. We are going to cyprus with our 3 children and close family members. 15 of us in all.
I didnt want a massive wedding so this suits us. X
