I'm a big fan of flowers and I'm keen to get them right girl my wedding. Saying that, I am trying to keep costs down to a budget of 500 with 8 bouquets including mine, 8 buttonhole, 2 flower girls wands and MOB and MOG brooches. One florist suggested I could use the bouquets as table decorations very easily, whilst one suggested this might look weird. Do any brides have experience of doubling up the use of bouquets as table decorations? Is it cost effective? Or would it be better to buy extra decorations? How else did people keep costs down? Pics would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I am planning on using my bouquets as table decorations, such as the table for signing the register and the top table. If it's done properly I don't see why it would look weird (maybe that florist wanted to try and get extra money from you?) x

I woukd say that you wound just need to be clear with BM that the flowers have a double use as some of them might think they are keeping their flowers.
I personally am having bridal party flowers and different ones for reception.
We have a local flower market that yiu can guy wholesale flowers, do you Have anywhere like that? Can be cheaper and if you are just having simple table decorations you can diy
