Hey everyone, just looking for some opinions and some ideas,

we are having our reception in a marquee, we are having round tables. orginally i was going to have jam jars tied with ribbon with flowers in some and candles in the other. Last night FMIL brought round a little lantern that holds candles (picture below). I love these do you think it would look ok to have one of these in the middle of the table with rose petals scattered around it or not? any other ideas that would look right with it please throw them at me.

I think it looks lovely Danielle. You could always make some (or get someone else to make some) wreath style flowers, either fresh or fake and lay them around the outside. Best of both worlds.

You could hang them as well by the looks of it - don't need to have an actual candle either as you can get the LED ones, or even put some LED lights in and hang them up around the marquee.

Maxine, we got married on 7th November in a hotel too and our ceremony was at 1.30, we didn't think they looked out of place in fact our guests mentioned how lovely they thought the aisle looked xx

If they are the same as mines they are small to be honest. Depends on the size of your table I suppose? I'll try find a pic of them on my isle to give you an idea of size
