My OH and the groomsmen are having different suits - my OH is wearing blue and the groomsmen (and my dad) are in grey. I went with my OH to choose the groomsmen's suits but I didn't go with him to choose his own suit - he wanted it to be a surprise for the day. I know its blue and from t3d b@k3r but haven't seen it. Although I had an input with the groomsmen's suits it was ultimately his decision, I wanted him to be 100% happy with them.

OH and I have also chosen shoes, ties, belts, buttonholes, pocket squares etc all together so I wasn't worried about him choosing things that didn't match!

brilliant thanks :) the only thing i am worrying about is that we are getting them all from the same place and the colours do need to match with the bridesmaid colours, the ties and handkerchiefs are coming from the same place along with the suit hire, i just don't want them all choosing very different styles and colours ( i know i shouldn't be picky but i just don't want them all to look uniform and then one of them to stick out like a sore thumb)

thanks Emily, that's what I was thinking, going in making sure ties and waistcoats match and then they can do their fittings whenever

I think when it comes to our suits I might ask Mil to go with them, she will be coming dress shopping with me and will know the colors they need and what will go etc, that way I can be surprised at what the men have chosen

I'm going for the 1st appointment as it will include my 2 sons fittings and my H2B hopeless with that kind of thing!! But when he takes the rest of his groomsmen I'll leave him to it because he will already know colours etc...
It's what ever more comfortable for you Hun it won't do any harm going :)

Yes i went to make sure he looked as good aa he could. Plus with the sage green tie and rustic theme i wanted to make sure he didnt come away with a jet black tail coat and top hat that mismatxhed the colour scheme and was totally not in keeping with the theme.
    Lol.
He looked gorgeous as well. :-)
