This is the outside of my wedding invitations (this is attempt number 1 as I'm making them myself) I'm wondering if perhaps I should add something above the ribbon, maybe an embossed "wedding invitation" or something similar

What do you ladies think, my OH likes the simplicity, but I think it is a bit plain.

If you don't want writing saying wedding invites, to break it up you could have the first letter of your name and his above and under the ribbon, that'll look nice.

They're great Faye! I prefer the simplicity of invites, they don't need anything else but can understand if you want something more... "Wedding Invitation" will be more than enough.

I think they are lovely! I am making ours but still don't know what I want lol... x
Classic, simple and elegantly beautiful- good work - needs nothing added :-) xx
CommentAuthorMrs T Hurley!
I like it too. I like the idea of adding your initials if you wanted to add to it, but personally I'd leave it as it is x

Really pretty. I would maybe add the intials like some one suggested above if you want to add something to the front. x

They look lovely as they as they are - well done you! Personally I would add something to the front - I like the initials idea - but they don't NEED anything doing to them.

They're beautiful Faye! I personally think that with the rich colour of the purple and the bling of the embellishment, they really don't need anything else. But if you were to add something such as the initials the other ladies have mentioned, then maybe move the ribbon off centre so that it all balances out. Xx
Became Mrs Maunders on 22nd October 2016!

Thanks guys, I think they are going to end up as they are in the picture as I tried stamping one to see how it would look and because of the type of paper the ink just will not dry!
Might get a few little embellishments for the inside instead

I think they are lovely as they are. If your having trouble with ink drying can you not get nice sticky initials to put on the front if that's what you were trying to do xx

Stephanie, because they are pre-assembled pocket folds they can't go through a printer
CommentAuthorLoz K
Faye where did you get your pre-assembled pocketfolds from? I've not been able to find anywhere that does ones for my size (5x7) and if I can get that sorted I'll be able to make a start on the invites :-)
CommentAuthorFayeJ67
I got mine sent through from the US I'll pop a link on your wall
