Hi everyone, we're looking at booking a harpist for our wedding reception but can't decide how long to have her play for? We definitely want her to play during our drinks reception but are wondering wether to have her stay for the wedding breakfast too? Do you think it's a good idea or do you think everyone will be too busy eating and chatting then for it to b worth paying extra? Thanks in advance

Our harpist is playing just through the wedding breakfast.. we were initially considering having her play through the welcome drinks as well but this would have added another hours' cost which we thought was a bit steep, so we decided to just have her for the 2 hours through the wedding breakfast. I am obviously biased but I think it's lovely, will create such a nice atmosphere and complement the occasion well :)

Yes me too! I love the sound of a harp. That's what is holding me back - the extra money! And also I'm worried that Ill miss out on a lot of it because I'll be off having my photos taken during a lot of the drinks reception!

Our Harpist is playing at the church and then at the venue during the welcome drinks. I also love the sound of the harp and have always wanted one at our wedding.
