    Hi all!

Just wanted to find out what people are giving their flower girls - a small bouquet to hold or a basket with petals to scatter.

i am giving mine a fairy wand with flowers on, she will only be two so a basket or bouquet may be too much for her x

Personally I think its down to what age they will be at the time of the wedding. Because like Nicole said a basket/bouquet maybe to much for little ones.

Mine will be 3 and she is carrying a sign like the one Flossie has. She's having a coronet of flowers for her head.

My 2 flower girls are 3 and 4 so they are carrying a wand with ribbons and flowers.

    Love the signs as well!

How about a teddy bear in a matching dress to hers (colour wise) or dressed in a brides dress?

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan

Mine had a little posy of white flowers with a blue ribbon (the bridesmaids had blue flowers).

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Ours was 3 so had a flower wand with a sparkly butterfly in it.

My sister had 3, at the time they were 4, 7 and 8. They had little fabric bags filled with petals which they scattered as they walked down the aisle, she did it american style so FGs went first followed by bridesmaid followed by me as CBM/MOH and then her with dad. The petals were a lovely touch.

I haven't decided what I want for my FGs. I like the wands and the little bags. Would both look too much?

Its how they would get on carrying both Susan. If they were holding the wand then they wouldn't be able to scatter the petals.

Maybe if they could hang their bag around their wrist and hold the wand in the same hand they would have a hand free for scattering x

My Niece was my flower girl and she was 2 and a half when we got married. She had a little basket with petals in that she carried, along with her favourite teddy :) There's a picture in my albums I think
