I am getting married 18th April next year, so we have exactly one year to go. Up to now I have felt fairly organised. I am worried that the day is going to be a bit boring for guests though. We get married at 2pm, and then the evening reception inc, wedding breakfast, speaches etc. Start approximatiely 4:45. So far I have booked lawn games as entertainment, but there is something telling me there should be more. If the weather is pants, which I'm hoping its not, then we will have to move the games indoors until the marquee is ready for us to go into. Does anybody have any other ideas, preferably not magicians and that won't cost a bomb? Any help would be much appreciated! X

What about a local dance class, like Irish dancing who is happy to do some dances indoors?

That is an idea, I'm not very coordinated myself so am not a fantastic dancer, more like I just stand there bopping my knees haha, so I suppose something like this would be useful as well. Do you know how much something like this normally is?

Caricaturists seem to be very popular. Or live music?

I was looking at caracturists before to be honest, but I can't remember what turned me off, whether it was the price or what. And I'm not keen on a band, I feel like they can't sing a variety of different songs. I'm very picky, I think probably too picky! :/

Doesn't have to be a band, you could have musicians as well. We're having a harpist play through our wedding breakfast x

No such thing as too picky when it comes to your wedding :)

I have been to weddings with literally just a DJ for entertainment and I havent been bored at all. Don't worry about it so much, people are capable of looking after themselves. xx
