I have 2 bridesmaids, my sister and my SIL to be and they will each be walking down the aisle with one if my two sons who will be pageboys. They will be 4 & 2 at time of wedding. They both love this idea but have said they'd rather have corsages instead of bouquets so they don't have their hands full. I understand then but don't know how this would look in pictures? I thought about getting corsages as well as bouquets for the pictures only but can't really stretch to both. Anyone else's bridesmaids had corsages instead of a bouquet or no flowers at all? What did they do with their hands for the pictures?

I'm just having a corsage for my bridesmaid (having one) and the flower girls are having wands. She's probably going to have to hold the flower girls hands down the aisle so made more sense.

I agree with them if I am honest. If they are helping a child down the aisle it will be easier for them to not have a bouquet and also need to worry about making sure they hold the bouquet up.
I really wouldn't worry about the photos. They will look lovely regardless of bouquet and there will still be flowers in their corsages.

Thank you ladies! I'm happy to go along with what they feel more comfortable with!
They'll look absolutely fine, definitely more practical too and should work out slightly cheaper x

Sounds like a good idea to me, I'd save your money and just have the corsages, will look nicer when they walk down the isle too as won't get in way of the, holding your boys hands x

Agree it will be easier if they are guiding little ones. For the pictures they can pose with hands held together in front if them, the wrist with the corsage on top. That way you would just really see the flower not hands.
