Help please!! Now I'm inside the 2 year mark I want to get our wedding insurance sorted but not sure where to start. The total cost of the wedding will be around the £14,000 mark so do I get cover for the full amount? Our wedding is on NYE and we intend on including a few things such as sparklers and fireworks so should I get an insurance which includes public liability and accident cover? Is there anything else I need to consider when picking an insurer? And who do you recommend? Sorry for all the questions but insurance is my pet hate!

We went with D3b3nh@ms. Got £10 cashback through a cashback website and also a £10 gift card. We decided to go with them as they are a reputable company.
In terms of cover, they split everything down, so you just need to make sure you have the appropriate cover for all the little bits. For example the venue total, wedding rings etc. rather than the total lump sum.
If you have any questions about the policy I would just phone them or chat to them online and they will answer any queries.

I would definitely insure for the full amount. As for public liability I would ask your venue for advice. They may have their own or know exactly what you will need for sparklers etc

we searched on a comparison site for the best deal through m0n3ysup3rmark3t.c0m
that said we are hiring out a weekend house, so we went for the full insurance cover up to the total amount that we think we will spend.
