Have/would you buy a veil online to save money instead of buying it from a bridal shop? I want a new veil (not pre loved) but I have seen them on certain sites for £30 and in the bridal shop that I got my dress from they are £120+. I just want a single layered cathedral length so v plain - do you think there will be any difference with the quality? I know you pay for what you get but I just wondered if this was the case with a veil. I've spent a lot of money on my dress so I don't want to save money on the veil if it will look cheap! Any help would be greatly appreciate - thank you xx

I got mine online and it was beautiful. Provided you're confident of the length that you want, and you know whether you're looking for white, ivory or something else, I think you will be ok. Mine survived the day fine so the quality can't have been that bad, and you only need it to last one day.

I bought a brand new well known bridal brand, ex bridal shop veil on ebay for £25, in the shop (still had tags on) it should have been £100.

I have heard horror stories about where they have used a horrible smelling glue on them and strings of glue over the veil so I would check the reviews before buying. Not all will be like that but best to spend half an hour researching online to be more confident

If you unrestrict your profile I can put the link on your wall for where I got mine. I can't post it on the forum. I'll put it on my wall for now so you can find it there.

I got mine from D3b3nhams in the sale, £18 instead of £70 in the sale online e, somebody on here tipped us all off! :)

    Maybe worth checking with them.

Maybe look for shops that have sales on even try bridal shops as they have good sales on least that way you see the quality before you buy it :) x

I got mine online from a great place recommended to me. You can custom pick every last detail and they are very reasonable! Mine was 45 and it's beautiful x

I have had 2 veils from the bay and would say neither were that great quality. The one I ended up with from bridal store cost £120 for 72" and I know will be perfect and sit exactly how I want it to x
