I need some menu ideas. I dont want a big fancy meal, just want something really simple.
Looking for cinema/film inspired meals - with veggie options that i could use? EG - Lady and the Tramp Spaghetti and Meatballs (but thats far too dangerous with a wedding dress on!!)
Any ideas welcome

Are there any certain films your thinking along lines off like Disney or love ect? I'm rubbish with films but think food will depend on if your having a sit down meal or a buffet? If sit down then a starter like soup or pate, chicken for main or for veg then a quiche or tart, and then for desert choc cake usually goes down well or a cheesecake.

Saturday night fever had pizza if that's a different option? Or could do a beauty and beast theme by decorating tables to match the scene in beauty and the beast? But depends how much you want to go by the theme. Otherwise I'd just pic something you both like and go for it x

That's hard! Ratatouille? Lol.
Only other thing I can think of at the moment, which is not a meal but could be used as a buffet item, is boxes of chocolates Forrest Gump style.
If you're looking for drinks as well maybe Martinis in the style of James Bond?
Can you give us a bit more info of theme or what you are looking for?

Texan style beans, slaw and ribs from cowboy movies. Or what about basing it around the Mad Hatters Tea Party? You could have Turkish Delight from the Lion the witch and the wardrobe.

What about having different food stations? You could have a hot dog station, a nachos station, a popcorn station, a slush puppie station, an ice cream station etc, and people can just help themselves in a buffet way? x

Ratatouille is a good one Flossie. That would work for veggies.
I would perhaps reconsider the american pie apple pie, just because of the conotations that go with it from that film...
Will try to have a think about this one. X

You have to have nachos on the table if doing a cinema scene, my favourite thing yummy lol. Also you could serve oriole their drinks in the coco cola cups you get from the cinema too. Are you doing cinema ticket style invites to go with the theme? X
