What did people have to get your bridesmaids and MOB to the church? Me and my dad will be travelling together to the church, but then I have 2 bridesmaids my mum and grandma that will also need to get there somehow. The church is about 40 minutes away from our house. That same car will then need to take those 4 people plus my dad and brother to the reception, so needs to seat 6/7 people...
Any ideas??

We've booked two cars. One to take myself and Dad to the church and the second to take my Mum, sister (bridesmaid) and 1 flower girl (niece) to the church. Then after the service, myself and OH will take the 1st car and my Mum, Dad, sister and niece will go to the reception in the 2nd.
The day before the wedding my OH and I will drive over to the venue and leave my car in their carpark overnight, so the day after the wedding we have transport to go home in!

My bridesmaids and mother went in a taxi together, but it was only about fifteen minutes. For a longer run you may want to book a car. It would be worth finding out whether the company supplying your wedding car might offer a deal on a second car for bridesmaid and MOB. Otherwise you could book a taxi in advance with a confirmed fare.

My uncle drove my bridesmaid, flower girl and mum to the church and my stepdad took my gran. My sisters made their own way with husbands/boyfriends

maybe hire a stretch likmo for the bm and mob so there is plenty of space for the trip to the recpetion xx
Think my side are looking at a mini bus but I'd like some thing to take the bridesmaids and my mum but haven't decided what yet as budget isn't huge x

My Mom offered to drive them all as she knw we were on a budget. somehow we had over budgeted and our car pot covered the cost of a car for us and them so booked them one. If not it would have been Mom driving.

We have called up the taxi company we always use and asked them for a quote. They said they could do a mini bus for £140 to go from home to the church and then hang around to take them to the reception. Its probably at least a 30min drive each way so we thought that was quite good. X

We had the same situation, church was approx 1 hour drive from home. We booked 2 cars, the lead car to take me and dad and then an 8 seater m3rc limo to take my mum, 2 BMs and grandmother. Then from church to reception my dad joined them in the second car and so the lead car could take me and hubby.

We found an executive hire car company and had a mercedes vito which transported MOB, 2 BM's and Grandmother to the wedding venue. Could have held up to 6-7 people I think. They were all very comfortable and it matched in well with our modern style wedding car.
They went first and then I followed on in the other car with my dad.
