    Hello all,

I may be having a daft moment but it occurred to me that I don't know who gets wedding favours. Is it just the daytime guests that will be at the wedding breakfast or is it everyone?
    Thanks! :) x

No just the people at the wedding breakfast- if you cut the cake at the evening do, then evening guests can have a piece of cake :-)

Normally just day time guests, although you could do them for evening guests too. We're just doing day time x

Our favours were our centripetal piece, sweets inside a fish bowl, but to be honest, I think it is rude of people to expect a favour at a wedding, they are already getting a free meal, possibly free dinks, they should not expect a free gift as well. The wedding couple have already spent enough.

We got double the amount of day guests, but with his family being Greek it's tradition that we give them to all guests, and then to people we see after the wedding who couldn't come or weren't invited. We've still got about 50 of them in a box and give to anyone who comes to our house!

were donating to charity for our wedding favour as we can't decide on what people would want/can't see the point of tonnes of sugared almonds. the charity were donating to is the alzhiemers charity which will mean a lot to both our parents and remaining grandparents which are the people i would rather make happy than relatives that i haven't seen for months!!

We did favours just for our daytime guests (iced shortbread hearts) but everyone got a piece of cake and we had little dishes with packets of love hearts in.
