Can anyone recommend a honeymoon destination/resort to go end of July? We want to go somewhere amazing where we will be guaranteed good weather. We were originally looking at the Caribbean/Mauritius but not sure we want to risk the 'rainy' weather. In need of some inspiration as I feel I have exhausted all avenues. Basically looking for a 5* resort where we can lounge by the pool all day and then have a good choice of bars/restaurants on the evening xx

South of france is usually very warm at the end of july. Just beware of going in august because france kind of "shuts down" in august. The streets are often very quiet.

What budget have you set? Do you want all inclusive? What is your maximum flight time you want to do?

I've heard Bali is beautiful and I think July should be dry and it's v v cheap once you are there

Not all of the Caribbean is affected by the hurricane season. If it does rain it is tropical rain which means that there is a downpour that lasts for a few minutes and then will dry up very quickly.

I am honeymooning in Barbados, a colleague got married there and that was in late August/early September, and some other people at work swear by it.

I would avoid Mexico in August as that tends to get hit quite a lot.

Other options to consider would be Aruba, Curacao, Dom Rep.

Depending on how hot you want to go you could try Egypt, there's plenty of choice on hotels and resorts have plenty of things to do.

If you want something a little more familiar there are some fab hotels on the Canary Islands.

Thank you ladies! Think I might re-look at the Caribbean as Barbados was top of my list xx

I was going to suggest Malaysia, Thailand, Bali, vietnam, any of those far east destinations, you can guarantee amazing weather, 5*luxury and definitely in your budget but you're looking at 12 to 13 hours flights.
