Hi everyone, I hope you you don't mind me posting in here but I'm after a little advice. Me and my bride to be are due to marry next year in Las Vegas and I'm after any ideas on how I could surprise her and make it extra special. My b2b comes from a small family and won't have any of them at the wedding as her mum will be at home taking care of her grandparents. She wanted to get married abroad as she isn't one for lots of fuss and as we have 2 little boys she liked the idea of having our wedding and a family holiday in one. My parents and brothers will be there but I wanted to surprise her somehow, but not being the most romantic, was open to any ideas! Thanks

you could write her a poem/letter for her to read on the morning of the wedding before she sees you
Or put together a little box of goodies for the morning. bottle of her favourite perfume, small bottle of wine, some really nice tea bags, pack of biscuits. which can be delivered to her room the morning of the wedding

Why don't you try and set-up a Skype link so that her mum can see the ceremony from home? You could ask the hotel if they have a screen that it could be on in the room. Your b2b wouldn't need to know but it will be a lovely surprise when she see's her mum on the screen, watching you get married.

Sorry Nicola I should have mentioned , we're getting married in a place called chapel of flowers and part of the package is a live feed back home! I'm a bit of a techno-fobe so wouldn't know if that meant she could see her mum too. Will have to ask. Great idea, thanks for replying!

I think a box of goodies is a good idea too, write her a card, fave chocs and some fizz would go down a treat! xx

Welcome Ryan :)
Perhaps you could speak to her family before hand and ask them to each write a little note or letter for her to read on the morning of the day - you could have them delivered to her in a little package with your own letter and gifts for her to read before she gets ready.
Also, diamonds ARE a girl's best friend... jus sayin' :D
