We've found our perfect venue and H2B wants too book it with a deposit BUT I'm terrified and I dont know why! Is this normal?
How can I become more rational and go through with officially booking the date we want? Any help would be greatly appreciated

First of all breathe!
Once you get the booking in place you will be able to relax, you just need to go for it as you said its the perfect place so just do it, it is a scary thing paying the deposit, but once its done you will feel excited, I must say I was super excited when we went to book.

It is quite daunting. it is the biggest decision to make, when it will happen and it makes the whole dream of getting married real.
I remember panicking too when we booked our date and then again when we booked the reception venue. but after its done it was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and really relaxed about it all.
It is the perfect venue you know that and so why not. if you don't book it now it may be taken by someone else and then you will be disappointed.. go for it :)

Just go through a mental checklist....
Is it perfect? Do you get everything you want? Can you picture getting married there? Do you envisage walking down the aisle to your hubby? Can you see your venue on your marriage certificate?
And finally, will you be 100% happy and confident from now until you get wed with the venue/staff?
Answer yes to them all and you have your venue! :) x

It is very daunting, especially when the deposit is quite a big amount. We paid a £1000 deposit for our venue which was the most money I'd paid on anything for a good while, so I had a freak out moment but knew we had to just go for it! If you know it's perfect for the two of you then I think you have to just jump in xx

Just make sure you know what your criteria are and make sure the venue fits them. If it does then you have nothing to worry about.

Thanks girls the only thing I'm not 100% on is the ceremony room it doesn't seem big enough in my opinion but everything else is 110% perfect it's even in my dreams at night and consuming all my thoughts

Sit down with the wedding coordinator and talk through how many people you have and now the room will be set up.
Ask if you can go and see the venue on a day when it is set up for a wedding. you may be surprised when you see it set up?
