I have seen the idea of the wine and letters in a box and it gets opened on your anniversary I think this is lovely but does anyone have any other ideas of something that we can do/make on our wedding day to keep for our anniversary

A friend got those pieces of paper for guests to fill out the blanks e.g. "I first met you when....., My advice for the bride and groom is.... Always remember to...., never.... Etc. Her guests filed them out and put them in a box that they're not going to open until their first anniversary and then they can read all the messages. X

I saw an idea where it's a sort of letterbox/piñata. Everyone posts a note in on your wedding day then you crack it open on your first anniversary.

was told the other day about a couple who got guests to write messages that were then wrapped round sugar cubes then encased in voil and put in airtight container .... they then opened it on their anniversary and each time they used sugar for a cuppa they got to read the messages / ideas for dates etc

Haha, now you've changed it my post looks silly haha.
How about a jar of memories from your guests and yourselves. Write on a bit of paper, fold up, pop in the jar and then read them on your anniversary, or just a few and keep some fore subsequent years.
