We get married on the Saturday and go on honeymoon on Monday. We were wanting to go on the Sunday but the only flights we could get were Monday, but I don't mind too much as it gives us a bit of time to get things ready after the wedding.

We got married last weekend, and are looking at booking our honeymoon for August/September.

We've found the place we want to book in Bali.

We didn't have a gift list, but it's traditional in a greek wedding not to, as they give envelopes with money or pin money on you (although he's Cypriot so envelopes is their tradition) which has given us the funds to do it.

I think it's your own personal preference of when to go, and we wanted Bali, so had to wait until the weather is right as its rainy season now too.

We are getting married in July and our honeymoon is October as we are going to San Francisco and wanted to see a nfl game and their season doesn't start until later in the year. We may do a mini moon but due to a number of weddings this year we might not have chance.

Somehow always connected , finally became friends .

Our wedding is on August 10th and we jet off Sept 4th. We wanted the wedding to be in an overlap for Scotland and England school holidays so most of our friends and family with kids could come but we wanted our honeymoon in the time of year where it was still sorta peak in Florida but kids will be back in schools so less waiting times when at the parks and also because it is slightly cooler in Florida in September than August.

We get married 8th August and fly to NYC on 6th October, so nearly 2 months. Flights were cheaper if we went after the holidays, plus gives us some time to recoup funds and have something to look forward to after the wedding.

We married on a Saturday and went away on the Monday two days later. Having the day in between to recover and clear up was good but I wouldn't have wanted a long gap as it would have been hard to get back to normal in between.

Considering nipping away to a spa or country hotel for 2 or 3 nights from Monday - Wednesday though as I feel like it might be anti-climactic to go straight home. xx

Get married in October. As we are going to Scotland week before wedding that will have to do as a pre wedding honeymoon as will be having 3 nights in Gibraltar to get married spend wedding night there then drive back home which is a 6+ hour drive. Then get ready for our blessing so will be trying to do new York next year x
