We were, initially going to go to Cyprus to marry but my OH's parents wouldn't be able to come and when working out costs it's fast becoming very expensive!
I've decided to look at venues closer to home and im back to looking at $k3tty Hall. They do have wedding packages which would fit within our budget of £5000 but this number will be a stretch to achieve. I'm looking at possibility/costs of a weekday/sunday wedding and also thinking of keeping day numbers to a minimum to make our budget go further.
Has anyone attended a wedding at this venue or been married/planning a wedding here?

Obviously if you go week day and out of season it will most likely be cheaper. Check out tr!p@dv!sor to see if there are reviews on there. Also if they have a website there might be some reviews, or a fb page.

i would contact them .... tell you have a budget of £4000 ...and is there anything they can do to accommodate you
We looked there as i had been to weddings there previously and have to say I was disappointed with the place now and so was my moh when she looked for her wedding. Are you aware the college owns it? So it means you can't use upstairs. Unless they have decorated since we went last it does need some jazzing up so you may need to cover the walls slightly.the staff there are fab and very helpful in preparing for the big day but personally its seen better days x

Thank you for your input ladies. I have sent an email, when I hear back i'll make arrangements to go and view and speak to the wedding co there. They don't have an official fb page and there isn't much on trip advisor either, mainly to do with the restaurant as opposed to the wedding side of things anyway.
Welsh bride, when did you go and view the place? I haven't been there before, my aunty said her friend had her wedding there and it was stunning but not sure how long ago that was. They're doing a fri/sat sept/oct special offer for 2015 for 3500 for everything but want to see if I can get the same, but cheaper with less numbers for next year.
We viewed it about June last year and my moh went in January this year. Like I said I have been to wonderful weddings there and staff are fab and the wedding organiser there is mad as a hatter but very good lol I know they do options of marque in the gardens and of course you have the park next door so fab photo op :)
It was just stuff like ripped wallpaper and marks on the wall which when my moh went they were still there!

Thank you, I would love the marquee, the pictures on the website are stunning and the style id want too so gives a good idea of what it could look like.
I'm unsure if to go and look at manor park because they can do similar packages, its abit out of the way for guests though and I haven't got the money to hire a coach for guests!

With man0r park they have 2 rooms so may have another event there at the same time :)
