    Hello All

    Wondering if anyone can help.
I'm not getting married until 2017 and we've got our main people decided however as a twist my H2B is picking his sister as his best man (or woman) because he feels closest to her.

I have no problem with this at all so I'm a happy bunny he is thinking outside tradition and she is over the moon with doing that honour for her brother.

However we are stuck on what an she wear.
We don't want a suit and don't think its fair for her to pick a normal smart dress and think it should be something that works with the ushers etc.
But on the other hand we want to show she is part of the grooms party and not the bridal party.

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions or experience of this themselves I'd be most grateful!

    :)

could she get a dress which is the same colour as the ushers. so the main colour of the dress the same as their suits with any detail the same as their ties. also with a buttonhole and not a bouquet xx

Thanks for the idea RachaelB76 :)

It's something to bear in mind, but what if we are having one colour scheme for ushers and bridesmaids?

If your bridesmaid are in same colour as ushers then I would have her dress different style to theirs but still matching them bit like how you have moh to bridesmaids. And maybe she could still wear a button hole on her dress so she slightly different. And not give her a bouqeut either. What colours are you thinking? As you could have bridesmaids in ivory with a hint of the colour in and her in the full colour your theme is. Just realised Rachael said about the buttonhole too :) x

We have a best man and a best woman. He will be in a suit and she is wearing the same dress of the bridesmaids but we are "editing" it to make it different so thinking along the lines of a sash or extra details put on by a seamstress. She won't have a bouquet like the bridesmaids but probably a wrist corsage as we were worried a ladies corsage (like a buttonhole) would pull on the v neck dress and that could be embarassing lol.
