We recently went to a friends wedding and they had macaroons and chocolate dipped pretzels and oh loved them, so we have decided to have them on our sweet table, but I'm not really sure what's a good price for macaroons or the pretzels tbh, how much should we be looking at spending on them?? And anyone else have them if so wide u go by taste or colour. Thanks :)

I'm not sure on price either, but seen pics and they look fab. Yummy too. There is someone on the iow who does them for weddings, cannot recall who they are or what price so will keep a look out on the book face to find what they charge.

Were they not macarons? They look much prettier than macaroons. They are a great idea I think, as you can have them included in your colour scheme

I've looked for the local seller of these on the book face bridal page but cannot find them, tbh not seen them post in a while either so not sure if they are still in business. Would have been good to get a guestimate on price.

I just had to look them up clairenina as didn't realise they were different haha but yes it is macaroons I'm thinking of lol thank you for pointing that out otherwise would of had a bad surprise on the day lol. Will keep looking n while ask my friend who did hers but have found some for £1.25 each ( seems very expensive to me) x
macarons are normally quite expensive but taste so good unless you know someone who could make them for you? any of your friends good bakers? x

some people do overestimate the costing, shame!
CommentAuthorMrsC2bee
I might see about getting a few rather than a large amount so they can go on the sweet table, times like this would be good knowing a trainee cook/ cater lol x
CommentAuthorInDreamland
I just don't think they're worth the money.

I personally have never tried them lol. But my oh did at our friends wedding and really liked them and was like we need these at ours. And I want to make sure he gets as much say in the wedding as possible so if he wants something I like to try and make it happen ( within reason haha) x

Lol. A lot of people I know find them too sweet and don't rate them. For the price I wouldn't do it but if you really want them then go for it.

Supermarkets sell them now, they are expensive but might be cheaper than buying from a specialist supplier. I've seen them in W@1tr053 and L1dl.

Think they were down the biscuit aisle which was strange. Think I've also seen them in the chiller cabinets where desserts are too.

I've edited your thread title to the correct spelling lol. Otherwise others will think you're talking about the coconut macaroons.
