Hi, I need a bit of advice/help/guidance etc

My OH and I have decided that on our big day we would like to elope off and get married in the registry office in the morning with just our parents and then have a blessing/non legal ceremony(with all our friends) in the evening with a friend taking it.

Can we have the "blessing" anywhere (i.e. on a harbour of our local port which is one of our fave places) or does it have to be in a certain place?

We want the least amount of fuss we can and we were thinking this would be a way to get our "wackyness into the day"

    Any help would be amazeballs
    xx

    Hey!

We are doing basically the same thing - we are having a quick civil ceremony and then in the afternoon we are having a big blessing with all the guests followed by a reception (drama with the venue but getting sorted!) :) Can't wait!

Generally, most blessings can be anywhere really but just check with the place you are having it that that's ok :)

    Good luck! xx

Yes you can ...... as the "blessing" has no legal basis it can not only be done wherever you want but you can aslo have whoever you want to conduct the ceremony
