I bought my shoes back in November because I fell in love with them. However, now that I have my dress I have noticed that they are a kind of champagne colour which makes them look quite silly with my dress.

So, what do I do? I have had them too long to be able to take back and I still love them but the colour is too different! I was planning on getting a pair of white flats to wear in the evening anyway, so do I just get these and wear them all day now and try to sell these shoes on? I love them so I don't really want to part with them but I don't want to look stupid haha!

These are the shoes (they look white/ivory here but I'll try to get a picture of them in real life):

And you can slightly see them with my dress on this photo:

My mum mentioned that but as they are satin material I'm not sure if it would work? x

You could always enquire. Maybe Ask the place where you got them from. They might even offer to.do it for you x

Maybe ask at your local dry cleaners? In my area, they normally are able to offer dye services.

they look like maybe p1ink or b3nj1man adams shoes something like that maybe rainbow club, if the shoe is only available in ivory they can usually be bleached white. have a look at the brands own website and call them to ask how much to have the shoes coloured to what you need and even better if you can get a swatch of fabric to match your dress to send with them to have it matched xx

Thanks! They have emailed back and said they can do it but they can't tell me how light they will go as every colour is different, still going to give it a go though, only costs £18 which is cheaper than a new pair :) x

Oooh fingers crossed they can be dyed! They are gorgeous shoes and the style actually suits your dress perfectly.. if worst comes to worst and they can't be dyed and you can't find another pair you love equally as much, I don't actually think they look bad at all against your dress (from what I can see in the pic) xx

I would advising the place you bought them from of the issue and as long as they have never been worn out you can possibly ask them for a different colour. That way you're not asking for a refund but an exchange. Some companies will be happy to do this for you depending on how long you have had the shoes and their condition as well as what you're exchanging them for.

They don't look silly to me!

My shoes are nude with sparkles on, my dress is a light Ivory and I quite like the contrast

How long ago is it from when you got them? If you still have the receipt, and they are unworn, no reason why you cannot take them back, explain you got them before your dress and now they don't suit your dress,
