We've just had our final meeting with the registrar today so still have the paperwork handy! I assume it's very similar across the country but it has an example of what's gunna happen. (were not doing an order or service though)

    Entrance with ............
    Weclcome by the registrar
    Choice of Introduction
Dedication of Candles (if you choose them)
    Reading 1 (again, optional)
    Registrar - declaration of marriage/CP
    Declatory vows
    Reading 2 (optional)
    Guests stand
Exchange of rings and contractual vows
Registrar words explaining meaning of the rings
    guests re-seated
Candle of commitment (if you have candle ceremony)
Reading 3 or song performed (optional)
    Closing statement
    Conclusion

    Signing of the register
    Photographs
    Closing words by the registrar
    Guests stand

    Exit couple

Hope that's what you were looking for x

Not sure if it helps but rather than an 'order of service' for everyone we are thinking of having an 'order of the day' poster or maybe a chalkboard on display somewhere where everyone can have a look. So would just have the timings of everything outlined so everyone knows what is happening and when :)

We will get the registrar to remind people not to post photos until we do the next day, but I'm ok with them actually taking photos.

im not having an OOS either,We are having just a civil ceremony, now looking at these posts i may do an order of the day though, what a cracking idea,
i didnt think of that, i think its a good idea to let guests know what to expect,it means they know roughly whats next and not just to guess :) thanks girls :)
