Me and my partner have finally got a date we want to get married. August 2016. As he works away I want to keep myself busy but still involve him. I'm not an arty crafty person so can I realistically make my own save the dates, invitations etc? They look so complicated so not sure if I will be able to make them look nice. Or am I just better off paying a professional to make them? My colour theme is Cadbury purple if anyone has any pictures they would like to share :)

Hi FranK, I'm the same as you not very arty but I've had this dilemma too. I'm getting married August 2016 too so plenty of time, might trial to make my own as the stuff to make them doesn't have to be too expensive then see how one turn out and if I can handle the pressure haha. I think there's no harm in trying :) ... Sorry for the essay x

I'm getting mine hand made by a lady i met at a wedding fair, her invites are absolutely stunning and I'm so bad at arts and crafts so it was a no brainer for me! lol
