Wedding Forum - Songs for the whole day **Thread Closed**...

We are having something a little different to walk back down the aisle to, it's a surprise at the moment ;)

Oh I'm all for it, think it'll help lighten everyone up etc. Just really don't want his other ideas of rave for during the meal lol. Rock I really don't mind though. We're keeping a few songs a surprise from our guests and parent etc though. But still cannot decided on a first dance song :/

Im so excited about the ceremony bit and the music, im not having a traditional wedding, my friend is conducting the service, so basically what will happen is as everyone walks into the woods and takes seats , the song that will be playing is "Marry you by Bruno Mars, acoustic version, then my friend will stand up and she will explain our love story then will introduce my friend (who doing service) and he will walk down the aisle to Rocky theme tune as he waves hello to everyone..ha.., then my friend will introduce the Groom , and he is having a david bowie song to walk down too as He loves him, then next they will say , and now here comes the bride and beautiful Tallulah (our daughter) my daughter will be flower girl who will walk in front of me and my song is Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamawi, then just before my friend says you may now kiss the bride , you are now husband and wife, Top Gun theme tune will already be playing quietly then turned up at a specific part in the song really loud as we kiss ! we both love Top Gun, and all my friends know its my fav film , I think they will find it funny ! undecided on first dance, may have a fast country and western song that we can do silly barn dance style dancing too... or Big Jet Plane by Angus Julia Stone as that's "our song"... im so excited just writing this ... I haven't told anyone what we having, keeping it all a surprise !! My man knows whats going on though ! haha..
