this is our last cycle ttc before we marry 2nd august next year.. bit gutted it hasn't happened yet as first baby was a surprise!
not sure when to start again.. my dress hasn't got much leeway for being let out if I had a bump.. im hoping that I wouldn't be too bloated if I was around 12 weeks! any advice, im really sad about stopping for a while!

Cant wait to become Mrs C Glover!

It's hard to say to be honest as it depends on how you are in your pregnancy, some people seem to bloat straight away whereas others never seem to get a bump at all. Best thing to do is to go by what you were like with your first pregnancy... but even then each one is different.

If you are really sad to stop, why don't you carry on and if you fall pregnant change your dress? If you fell pregnant this cycle then you can't guarantee that you would have lost your baby weight by the wedding

I can only go by my last pregnancy where I had a small bump at 16w, im not concerned about loosing the weight I had no troubles last time as I didn't gain much other than the bump.. I know pregnancies aren't the same but im hopeful lol.
I wont be able to change my dress without buying a new one as its already ordered.

I agree with the above, why the rush and desperation? Unless youre like, pushing 40 or summat? just seems like an unnecessary stress for something that could be started again a few months/year down the line x

I have 3 girls, 8-5 and 3 with my ex partner and we've recently found out we're about 6 weeks pregnant, and this is h2b's first baby ... with 5 weeks to the wedding so I've been worrying about the dress...I do get slight bloating at certain points of the day but majority fine ... So I'd say definitely pick it up again maybe just before...ours happened quicker than we expected, literally two days after coming off the pill but we're very excited . All my three other pregnancies were pretty similar,no bump til around 17ish weeks and always measured small...may have a tank this time never know lol as h2b is tall and was 9lb something at birth....really hoping smaller tho lol

    Good luck xx

I wasn't expecting our first to be so big he was 8lb 9 lol .. my bump was huge but im only a tiny size 6. I didn't look pregnant from behind at all, people were shocked when I turned round. I worry about getting big earlier. think we will start again around june next year! I doubt it'd happen quickly lol xxx

You never know, stay calm about it, normally happens when you're not thinking about it...probs why it was so quick with us as I thought at least a few months x

I know how you feel, we had a bit of a scare a few months back (we weren't planning on trying until after the wedding) but when we found out we weren't pregnant we were a little disappointed and did think about trying before the wedding.... when we decided actually it's best to wait I felt the same. But one thing at a time I suppose
