I love the idea of putting a lucky sixpence in everyone's little favour box on a little piece of card saying "thank you for sharing our special day" on one side and "this lucky sixpence is just for you may it bring you luck your whole life through" I love it and think it's a nice modern twist on the "lucky sixpence in her shoe" tradition but a bit concious a lot of people won't get it and find it a bit odd and just a bit of 'tat'...would you be bothered? Would you rather the favour be something you like or something you think they'd prefer? Xx

I like the lucky sixpence idea as it's something they can keep forever and has a meaning behind it. I would appreciate that a lot more than something like sweeties/chocolate which would just be eaten and then forgotten about. I also like the idea of the scrolls with a thank you message/poem on them xx

I like this idea it seems nice and personal, they can have something to keep too! They could even hang it on their tree at Xmas ( if they celebrate) and remember the wedding every time and have happy memories.
