Hey all,

I have bought the best men (I have 2) engraved hip flasks. That's not a problem....

What I need to know is, when do you give the gifts? I have been to a few weddings where they are given at the speeches, others that do it while they are all getting ready in the morning.

As they are hip flasks (not cufflinks etc) makes sense to me to give them during the speech....I was thinking about getting them cufflinks too to give in the morning so they don't think I have forgotten......

Help........what are you all doing??

My OH has two best men also!

I would generally give them out during the speech, however with flasks you could do it on the morning and that way they can keep them topped up during the day/night?

My h2b was best man for his brother 2yrs ago and he got a hip flask and cufflinks, but all presents were given in the morning as the got ready - none were given out at the speeches. I would just do what suits you best.

We are not doing any gifts during our speeches. I find it drags them out and people tend to get bored. The only things that won't will be flowers for mums xx

If you think people get bored during the speeches, keep them short, we did... Our total speech and gift time lasted about 20 mins... Was fine
