I spoke to the girl who is making our wedding stationary today and she gave us the option of having each guest's name printed on the save the dates or having them generic. What is everyone else doing? I thought save the dates were supposed to be generic but I don't know what to do.

I think that they tend to be generic and not personalised to the guest but its up to you. I would leave them generic, that way you can send them without worrying you've sent them to the wrong person and so you can send them to any extras you think of without having to get any more made.

We had names on ours so people knew from the start who was/was not invited. Especially as we are only having my 2 cousins in terms of children.

I would have generic ones as always easier to add extras if needed

Ours are generic, i made them myself. I only put the name on the envelope, but only one name as in his auntie, but not her partner. But sometimes that gets complicated as she has decided to invite her partners daughter we have only met twice. we weren't going to originally but now shes excited and his grandma has already paid for a room for her!
