Wedding Forum - Who is writing their own vows?...

We wrote our own, we kept it simple and thought of three things that summarise everything that we wanted to say.
You know how sometimes it can be the little things that make you think your other half is amazing? Being amazing (to that person) is our first promise to each other, the second is to love each other dearly (and by that, we know we mean no matter what), and our third promise is to be their biggest fan (to support them in whatever they do).
They might not be fully understood by many of our guests, but we know exactly what they mean to us

Here is the vow's my partner and I are saying. I found it a while ago when searching for ideas and it summed us up perfectly.

I take you to be my best friend,
my faithful partner and my one true love.
I promise to encourage you & inspire you
and to love you truly through good times and bad.
I will forever be there to laugh with you,
to lift you up when you are down
and to love you unconditionally
through all of our adventures in life together.

This is our whovian vows, we are hoping to use :
His vows:
If I believe in one thing, just one thing I believe in you,
Theres no one else I would rather journey through life with.
I can’t tell you where our life will lead but no matter what I will always protect and defend you.
Will you come with me , because if you do I should warn you, It won’t be quiet, it won’t be safe and it won’t be calm, but I will tell you what it will be , A trip of a lifetime

Her (my ) Vows :
You stole me and I stole you, what makes you think I would ever give you back.
No matter where we end up, I will stand beside you, to remind you who you are and to look impressed when you are being extremely clever.
I made my choice a long time ago, I am never leaving you.
I will travel along with you to the end of the universe, though all of time and space I am yours.

As we put on the rings:
Together or not at all.

I won't be having vows, the bride and groom are forbidden from speaking during a Greek Orthodox ceremony!

Yeah, I am quite relieved but it feels strange as I didn't know about that at first.
Reading up on Greek wedding traditions and I came across it, I mentioned it to oh and he said, yeah, there's also no music played when you walk up the aisle!

I asked him how will everyone know I'm coming and he told me "they open the doors and you walk in".

This has sparked a number of dreams where I can't get the doors open, then try harder and they burst open as I stumble through.
Funniest part was me throwing my arms open and going "ta da!" Like I did it on purpose!
