We are getting married in Ayia Napa in August 2015, we booked through Thomson who have given us a guide price of €700 for a photographer but I think we can do better?
Is anyone currently planning their wedding in Cyprus? If so, how much have you paid for your photographer?
Recommendations appreciated!!!

We went to a wedding in Ayia Napa last August! It was beautiful. We stayed in the Nissi beach hotel I think it was called?
The wedding was actually my OHs cousin so I don't know the ins and outs but I think her photographer was included, although I can't say for sure, could be wrong. There were lots of shots, a lot of poses which looked a little uncomfortable and on some photos you could see the fire exit sign above their heads! Make sure you tell them what you want to avoid things like that, but if their photographer was included its perhaps worth paying to get good quality shots?
I would say best bet is if you've already spoke to your travel agent, try contacting the hotel directly? They may ave a few locals they can recommend?
Also, the brides mother hired an open top wedding bus to take us round Cyprus with unlimited champagne and music and we went round twice, it was the best part often day! Not sure how much that is but it is definitely worth looking into!

We are getting married in the Nissi Beach Hotel too! Yeah good idea, the hotel should have an idea of photographers in the area.
