    Hey girlies
Found out last night from my goregous hubbie to be that he has been having dance lessons for the past 6 months!

We wanted to do something a bit different rather than just shuffling around so we had just been practising some moves in the kitchen. Our house is far too small though so we booked a dance hall for last night so we could practice.
Was totally shocked when I found out he had booked an instructor and he's already about 6 lessons!
Was lovely being twirled around the dancefloor and the instructor was really lovely and her and her husband are now invited to our evening reception.
Was even more surprised that all my family knew what he was planning and no one let the cat slip out of the bag!
He can be very romantic some times :)

That's so sweet. We're getting one of my MOHs, who is a trained dancer, to come up with something for us. I've done some ballet as a small child, but H2B is definitely someone who makes it up on the dance floor.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Aww that's so sweet of him... shame you can't upload a video for us to watch of you two in action.
My OH can't dance to save his life (he generally gets pushed onto the dancefloor and then very awkwardly shuffles for a minute and then leaves) so I originally said that I don't want us to have a first dance as it means we won't be the centre of attention (which we both hate) and we could maybe have a last dance instead when everyone will be drunk and not paying attention. Then OH said we HAVE to have a first dance because its what happens at weddings, so I suggested dance lessons but he's apparently too embarassed of his dancing to go to them!! Guess I'll just have to keep working on bringing him round to the last dance idea.
My primary school forced us to do ballroom dancing but that was almost 20 years ago so I should probably get practising as well.
