ive fallen in love with the idea of writing my man a letter too read on the morning of the wedding,get him even more excited to see me walk down the aisle! i still have a while yet but id like too start getting some ideas together, and write it throughout the whole planning stage.. im also thinking about putting together a little box( like socks to stop cold feet and things like that)
if anyone who has any ideas to share with me then that would be fab! :)<3

I had a similar idea of writing a letter but more of the memories we have shared together,
For example on 21st November 2005 was the first date we went to such n such a place and we kissed most of the night I knew then that he was the one for me.
First holiday was to blah blah and it was the first time I done paragliding I'm so glad you talked me into it as it was so exhilarating
20th sept 2009 was the best day of our life's it was the day we welcomed Connor into the world, it wasn't straight forward but we got through it and I wouldn't change it for the world
You get the idea but ill be adding loads more and at the end of it I will write.
Here to making loads more memories today we start the next chapter of our lives as husband and wife

I love this idea and am thinking of doing something similar myself so would also be interested in idea's
I love the idea of writing a few special memories down as well, something about the big day and something about our future.
I'm also having a boudoir photo shoot in my bridal underwear, so will add some shots from that as a surprise for him.
Don't know how to get it to him though, as obviously it's private don't want his best man to hand it to him in case he opens it in front of him and his family lol, I've thought about giving him it and telling him to open it in the morning, or hiding it and texting him in the morning telling him where to look (but knowing my luck he would have his phone off as we're not planning on using them on the day)
The other option is to leave it in bed for him to find the night before (although again knowing my luck he'll decide to let the best man and his girlfriend use our bed or something silly)

Aww i love the letter idea (may have to pinch that lol): im also doing a box for H2B, will include, groom socks, groom cufflinks, new boxers, some champagne, a minature picture of us when we were 16 at our prom, a grooms survival kit (off the bay of e) and probably now a letter lol!! Any other ideas would be fab :) xx
I love the letter idea as well think I will pinch that, I am doing h2b a box ordered him personalised socks saying in case you get cold feet , a hip flask with a message and picture on and a grooms survival kit plus pick bits up as I see them x

I think its a wonderful idea too. I agree that a letter with history in it would be great, and very sentimental. My OH would love this (secretly!)
I was thinking about your situation Donna. Couldn't you give the box to your best man, and wrap it in a very extravagant bow, so he couldn't open it, or if he did, your OH would know, and say (for example) its for OH at 11am, to open on his own?
That way it definitely gets to him, and your best man is fulfilling a worthy duty!

I got my husband a few bits put them in a gift bag with a hubby to be card that a wrote a few words in, and left on the bed the day/night before. I was staying at the venue and he went out with his best man,groomsmen & my bro (who gave me away) so when he came home it was there for him to open... 11 months ago this night in fact lol x
