I have found the thread for toilet baskets, but found nothing in there that dealt with hampers for the bedrooms.

I have people coming from overseas so will require hotel rooms, I would really like to leave a little hamper for them, but im not sure what to put in one....

Would really be grateful for some help & ideas on this please.

    UPDATE: See below...

All the stuff I could think of a hotel should already provide like shampoo/cond, soaps, tea, coffee, hot choc, robes... Isn't really anything else you could do... Unless assuming you're guests s€x crazed maniacs then I've got a great list! LOL

I think we are doing this for our out of town-ers. We went to a wedding last year in Ireland and they had a welcome basket in the rooms of some wine, some Guinness chocolates, a map of the local area and some suggestions of what to do in the area. It also had an itinerary of the wedding weekend in it.

So chocs, alcohol, suggestions of what to do.... Thinking slippers if the hotel don't have any... Im not sure if they do yet.

Have been buying a magazine lately called "Something Sweet" so having googled what to put in a bedroom hamper, have thought I could make some of the contents of the hamper.

    1. Home Made Heart shaped chocolates
    2. Cakes in jars - homemade
    3. Home made fudge

    Other potential items:
    4. Bottled Water
    5. Pain killers (brufen, paracetamol or something rather than having it in the bathroom baskets)
    6. mini bottle of hand cream
    7. Herbal Tea
    8. Slippers
    9. sleep mask
    10. Piece of fruit
    11. savory snack

Can anyone think of anything else? Im contemplating putting toothbrushes in there as its the worst thing when you pack to go away and realise you have to find a shop cos you forgot your toothbrush!

just gotta hope we can get it, not bad pricing either, venue fee is only £65, the food works out at around £500 for 30 people, has 7 bedrooms which are between £39 - £94 per night which is the cheapest at low season to the most expensive at high season, so its not too bad at all!

We think of it as "an old mans pub" due to the style of it, all exposed beams, small, pretty surroundings, village location.... we havent been there but think of it in that way, which we love lol

have just worked out that i can do the room hampers for £13 each which leaves me with a few bits left over then all i have to do is add the homemade stuff but that wont cost any extra cos i will no doubt have all the ingredients in the cupboards anyway.
