    Hi

    New poster - be gentle!

Has anyone done or been to a male life drawing class for a hen do? It's one of the options are are looking at - basically a model comes to your house, venue etc and you get to draw him naked in a variety of poses.

I just wondered if anyone had any first hand experience? I've spoken to a couple of people, some have said it's quite tame and reserved and one other has said it's interactive with people posing with the model and him even being a bit - ahem - swollen at one point....

any advice appreciated, how full on it is, what happens etc.

    thank you!

I looked into is lol, but he didn't come to us, it would be us going to some kind of studio. It looks hilarious though. I've passed the reigns to my maid of honour so whether I get this now, I've no idea, but I just think it would be brilliant lol.

Sorry can't actually help, but I'd just go for it anyway and see what you get lol!

I've not done it for a hen party but I have done life drawing before and it is a quiet and reserved experience-but that's mainly because it was full of serious artists.

Is the life drawing class advertised as a hen do? This is interesting as I would imagine the hens would just be giggling the entire time which might be a bit awkward for the model.

    Hi

Yeh apparently it's really popular now for hens....so there is an element of proper drawing as you get a lesson but there is also an element of 'there is a man in front of me with his willy out'.

I have heard from one person who said it was a bit cringey and another person who had a different experience and said the hen was posing kneeling down next to the model and at one point he was even a bit - ahem - pointing to the sky!!

my friend did it on a hen night. Said it was a real laugh....
he picked up the hen and posed with her and he put him *ahem* (pee pee tail) on the paper when my friend was drawing and she drew round it :p lol.
I think it sounds funny but not really my thing...... my sister really wanted me to do it for mine!!

I can't decide what I think of this, I might mention it to my bridesmaids but as they're surprising me I don't know if they'd take it as a hint that I really really want to do that when actually it's just another thing to consider

it's serious art apparently...! just involves a willy...!!

I think a lot depends on who you book with etc, some seems to be serious and some seems to be a bit more - ahem - risque!

when i googled it the first one that came up was rather full on with pics etc....!!

We looked on some site for organising hen dos so I'd assume that one would be more silly than serious lol :D

yeh exactly, think they can be as naughty as you want them or otherwise.

I guess you give them a bit of guidance, I only know a couple of people who have done it hence posting on here for some more feedback.

One sounded more up close and personal than the other with the model even getting a bit - ahem - you know.
