I am getting married end of April 2015 and my fiancé just bought a suit from m and a suit jacket and trousers were 60.00 really reasonable and it's a lovely suit so might be worth it rather than hiring! :)

So we rode (on our bikes) down to our venue today and paid the £436 deposit; all very real now :D So excited; was very hard keeping normal at work :D

Good luck and hope you do :) £50 deposit :) Normal deposit is £250 but it was only £50 to secure the date and then pay £100 on the 1st April and then the other £100 on the 1st May then pay the remaining balance a month before the wedding date :)

Brought our rings today! Didn't plan to but saw the ones we wanted. I even got 10% off as it was the same shop I got my e-ring from.

So h2b's titanium 2 tone ring - £60 (on sale) with the 10% off = £54
My 9ct yellow gold diamond band - £269 with the 10% off (£26.90) so £242.10 :D

Also took out cover for 2 years on my ring so altogether £324.09 :D

Thought I'd add some photos of inside our venue. The Orangery room where we are having our wedding breakfast will look very different when decorated; unfortunately I didn't take any shots of the view of the grounds from the window as that is what really sets this room off.

You've given me a kick up the bum too, as I haven't done ANY planning for ages now. I am just addicted to looking at pictures and not booking things! haha!

Fell in love with this bouquet and ordered it but doesn't really go with our blue and silver theme but who cares :P I love it; hopefully I will be able to have it as it is one of a kind and not sure if someone has ordered it already or not :S

Also ordered this Scottish buttonhole to put on my granddad's grave :(

FOUND THE ONE!

Yeah today I found the one in the first and only shop I've been in; I tried on 8 dresses and I think this one was the fifth one I tried on.

Now I need to make sure that h2b doesn't see the photos on my drive..

Not sure whether or not to post piccies on here. It's a Marc Le Carr - Nancy :)

Online it is £1749; in store it was £1499 and if you paid in full there and then you got 30% off so it was £1049; £200 over budget but I'm in love with it :P The shop also threw in my veil for free which is worth £150 :)

My sister had a dove release at her wedding, I think they look lovely but birds freak me out a bit.... I've seen owls as well that can carry your rings down the aisle, but I'd end up freaking out as it flew towards me, scaring it and having it landing in the rafters with the rings haha
