I've just received our beautiful wedding stationary, and after showing someone they pointed out that it doesn't say "Carriages at midnight" on the invitations.

I had forgotten to put this in, but then looking back at the all the wedding templates on wording - none of them actually say this.

Did anyone else use / plan to use this with their invites? Do you think it's important that the end time is listed for guests?

I never thought of putting an end time, but ours finishes at 12.45 so may be worthwhile. will decide nearer the time though x

I think most people just assume weddings end around midnight - 1am ish :-) most people know the sound laws with regards to event venues xxx

i never thought about writing an end time on the invites may consider it as our venue does not have a hotel so guests will all have to arrange taxis xx

none of the template wordings i looked at had carriages on. i have an insert with the program of the day on it which has start and end times, time of dinner etc. just because i thought people would like to know what times things are happening and when they will be eating. also as we have a 30min drive to reception venue from church i wanted people to know what time food is etc so they dont miss anything.

but most weddings end at like midnight-ish. ours ends at 12.30am and guests depart at 1.00am but we have the option to stay in the other bar as long as we want so its not set in stone that everyone has to go home.

if i were you i really wouldnt worry about it xx
