Hello, I joined a few weeks ago and would like to know how to un subscribe, I have just had a call at eleven at night, on a Sunday, from an entertainment company, asking if I needed entertainment at my wedding. He said all my details including my address, date of birth, name, number etc had been given to him and that I should un subscribe incase my details Get sent in the wrong hands? Can anyone shed any light on this? My partner was very angry to hear that someone random had our address, even though the caller was advising me to be safe, still a worry though!

I did not give my address, and have not had any calls etc that have come through uk bride unless I requested it !
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got
together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!

hun your details are not passed to to anyone unless you have done the quote me thing.
did you get a company name or any other details from them when they called ? if so could you please pass them on to one of the moderators ,strange that they are calling you and urging you to UNSUBSCRIBE form the site.
I have never been contacted apart from the people I asked for quotes from and even then they were very professional and even when the wedding was called off and I emailed them sent back there sorrys and agreed to take me off the mailing list etc and not heard anything since x

I've been a member of the site for years, I have never had any calls. I would be wondering if this company that called you is yet another scam, like the make over one that was about a year or two ago. Personally I do not believe it would have anything to do with this site at all. Have you entered any competitions elsewhere at all? signed up for something like "my offers"? I would be more concerned about those things than UKB.

I have my address on here? It's in the details section..think I had to put it in when I subscribed...
But I agree with the others,this site is very encrypted and when there has been attempts to try and tap into the site,the big boss has closed the site down for a few hrs to get rid of any threats....so I couldn't imagine it being from here as they are very responsible with our personal data x

The only phone call I have ever received was from ukbride to tell me I'd won a pu prize - and that was certainly welcome. I do think its strange that you have been contacted as a result of being on here! Please don't leave on the basis of that call, this site has been invaluable in planning a wedding!
