    Hi ladies,

    Fiance and I have been looking at possible destinations however going into a same-sex marriage so we are slightly more limited than some of you due to certain laws.... We have found the beautiful island of Curacao in the Caribbean which is very gay-friendly and we are over the moon to have found somewhere in the Caribbean as we have both always wanted to go but just wondered if any of you other lovely bride-to-be's have found anywhere you can recommend we look at?! What sort of things/deals (regardless of same-sex marriage) should we be looking for when it comes to honeymoons? Thanks girls xxx

    Hi.

    Friends of mine (a same sex couple), went to Mexico for their Honeymoon and absolutely loved it. They said they felt as though they were treated like Royalty and had things like a massage every day etc.

    In terms of deals and what to look for it all depends what you are after really. For our Honeymoon next year we are having 7 nights in Barbados and 7 nights in Saint Lucia. In terms of deals they are out there but it depends if you see them as deals. As you can imagine our Honeymoon isn't cheap but we have managed to get a lot included;

    I had a cruise trip few months before to Belize. It was truly magical ! It was 15day trip . The name of the cruise was Blount Small Ship Adventures (United States) . Site seeing was a wonderful experience. Each destination brought me something new! There used to cocktail parties ,music and dance lessons , water sports. Some beaches are breath taking ...some are calm and peaceful. We had lots of fun running around and partying at the deserted islands... ! Evenings were made colorful by the music band at the ship. This was my most memorable Trip I ever had. Do you know why ? I met my fiance for the first time in this ship . We fell in love with each other during this trip. We are planning to go to Belize again for our honeymoon....Truly a magical and romantic place to visit !!!

    Why not do a cruise to the caribbean? You could then visit a number of different islands all through the holiday. majority of cruise lines are gay friendly' and there is a line for every age and interest.

    Mexico is gorgeous! And we've always seen quite a few same-sex couples when we've been and not noticed any difference in service/how they're treated. I can share the hotels we've stayed at if you like?

    Likewise, we've also been to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and again, saw several same-sex couples.
