Wedding Forum - New to ukbride...

Hello lovely ladies,
I am a newbie to UKBride, it is all overwhelming reading all the lovely comments, but i have no idea what all the shortened words means (i guess it's wedding talk). I thought i would let you know where i am up to and what i have already done to help other beautiful brides-to-be out there.
Well we have set a date which is the 4th April 2015, we are getting married in a lovely hotel in Cheshire which saves on transportation. We have also booked a wedding singer (sounds cheesy i know, but he is real good). I was told that we couldn't book the registrar until 12months till the date of the wedding, but my cousin is getting married 2 months after me and she booked hers, so from that we have pre-booked our registrar with a deposit of 100 pounds, which is great, but we still have to call 12months to the date of the wedding to the wedding.
I have also already made our Save the Date Cards already, as they advise you to send STD cards up to 12months to the wedding if it falls on a special date, as our wedding is in the middle of Easter Weekend. All i did was download a picture i liked from google images and opened it up in Paint Application, i edited it and added writing on top of the image, then i up loaded the image onto a photo website like Photobox or Truprit and ordered my image as a photograph, now i have 75 STD cards for 4.99 as when you join these types of sites you get your first 100 prints for free. So now i just need to find some nice envelopes and send them out.
I have also put in my diary to order my wedding favours, i am making my very own personalised M&M's sweets, you can download the date of your wedding date to a picture on a very little M&M. You can order them in all sorts of colours, either in a bulk order if you want to put them in your own containers or you can order them already in little favour bags (which is a little bit more expensive) the website for this is mymms.com
I am also going to order all of my fake flower arrangements from Amazon, you can get anything from centerpieces to buttonholes from there, i am also getting my bouquet from there only because i want to throw it to all the single girls at my wedding afterwards so i don't really want to spend a lot on it when i will end up tossing it through the air.
