it was a comp where you uploaded a pic of what you wanted and she chose what she wanted, so I uploaded a beautiful cupcake tower, her mum has just been in touch to talk flavours etc but we will only be getting the top tier and not the cupcakes, so need to find someone who can make matching cupcakes shouldn't be too hard xx
not a power user so can upload to an album and hope someone can upload for me. ill sort it now xx

So 2 weeks ago we won our wedding cake. The lady running the competition said she would put a letter in the post the day after on Monday morning. The following monday which was last Monday we still hadn't received the letter so I sent an email just to say we hadn't got the letter yet, she replied to say she's found the letter in the bottom of her bag and it was mixed up with some other letters and she would post it out on the Tuesday. We still haven't received it and now starting to feel a little bit disheartend :( xx

I will do. Its only so she can get all the colours right and I know she's busy do other brides cakes who are actually paying her but just feeling a little bit like it was to good to be true xx

so the lady has been in touch about our cake, we are having lemon and orange sponge cakes, she is going to make cupcakes for us and biscuits in the shape of birds and butterflies and having a mixture of cupcakes like in the picture and a couple of others I like, she is also putting two lovebirds on the bottom tier to fit in with our lovebird theme, im sooo excited now, wont have to pay too much extra either :):)

i cant wait now !!! sooo excited, i think the kids will love having little biscuits as well as cake, now to decide how many i need? if im catering for 100 and have a two tier cake how many cupcakes and biscuits should i order so it feeds everyone and looks good too? xx

im maybe thinking lots more cupcakes than cakes the cake lady suggested 25 of each but i think it would be too many biscuits....maybe 55 cupcakes and 15 biscuits, MIL says she's never known cake served though at the wedding that its usually taken home and cut up before being handed out and that only the kids will probably eat the cupcakes xx

We have got a 2 tier giant cupcake and 80 cupcakes.
55 Cupcakes sounds good. Were cutting ours in the evening but we are taking the top tier home with us as we want to have it while were on Honeymoon xx
